Are your tanks made from FDA approved resin?
Yes. Our high density polyethylene tanks are made from Exxon HD8660 resin.

What is the warranty on the tanks?
Tanks are sold with a 3 year warranty from the date of shipment. The exceptions to this are for sulphuric acid and for biodiesel applications. These applications carry a one year warranty from the date of shipment.

Can your tanks be pressurized?
No. Our tanks are designed for atmospheric pressure only.

Can your tanks be buried underground?
No. Our tanks are for above ground applications. A vault or cistern must be constructed to place these tanks below ground.

What is the maximum operating temperature?
140 degrees Fahrenheit.

Are these tanks repairable through plastic welding?
Yes. High Density Polyethylene can be welded unlike some other types of polyethylene.

Is this plastic recyclable?
Yes.

Is there UV protection in the resin you use?
Yes. UV stabilizers were added to the resin to increase the useful life of the tanks.

How long do plastic tanks last?
There is no good single answer. It all depends on the application and the exposure of the tank.

What is the Specific Gravity rating of your tanks?
Our tanks are manufactured to 1.5 or 1.9 SG. We have other tanks available on pre-order that are made at lesser weights.

Can I store fuels such as diesel and gasoline in your tanks?
Emphatically no. These tanks are not designed for fuel storage.

Are Drawings available?
Yes. Drawings and details are available upon request.
